Every time you feel sad for the world, the conflict, the suffering, the polarization,

Every time you feel overwhelmed by the constant stream of bad news, of hateful messaging,

Every time you feel despair, the weight of climate change, inflation, corruption, and war, 

Act with kindness, one small act for every sad thought. Text a "hello" to a friend, pay it forward, shovel the snow for a neighbour, buy an extra can of food for the Food bank, smile at a stranger, help a senior by offering your arm, hug a friend or colleague ---so many ways to show kindness.

The first step is awareness of our own thoughts and how they affect our ability to act.

The second step is to act as if we truly believe we can make a positive change. We do make the difference!
